General Information

The Border Patrol is a group of soldiers and free men, often born in the borderlands, who think it their duty to patrol the Blight Border. They fight back Trolloc invasions and lead forays deep into the Blight and are rumored to have reached the Trolloc Keep and even Shayol Ghul, though the stories of these daring raids are often recounted only after several mugs of strong ale. The ranks of the Border Patrol are open to all fierce fighters who hate the scourge of the north and wish to fight back. A fierce one-eyed soldier named Uno leads these valiant defenders.

Fal Dara

Fal Dara is a simple fortress town near by the border of the Great Blight. Before the trolloc wars the city that stood on its site was the great Ogier-built Mafar Dadaranell. Yet nothing was strong enough to take the Shadowspawn flooding from the Blight. When the trolloc wars finally ended there was no more Mafar Dadaranell, it was destroyed. Those who survived decided to build a city on the site of the old one, build a plain, simple fortress town now known as Fal Dara. The Fal Dara is ruled by the lord Agelmar Jagad, great general and a fair leader. He has his own fortress in the center of Fal Dara called the Inner Keep. Although Fal Dara doesn't equal the former city Mafar Dadaranell in beauty it's two times the fortress Mafar Dadaranell was and an important center in the war agains the blight and the shadow.

History of the Borderguard

Since the shadowspawn, such as trollocs and draghkar started to murder and rape the lands of education the Borderguard has existed using its headquarters as the inner keep of Mafar Dadaranell and after the destruction of it, Fal Dara. The very founder is not known for sure, but it is believed to be the lord of Mafar Dadaranell in the very first days of the War of the Power. Malkier belonged to the borderguard influence before it was crushed by the trollocs. The Current countries, Shienar, Arafel, Kandor and Saldaea had no chance, but to watch the seven towers fall to the blight.
